ZYO Player is a media player, not a source of television or other media content. You are responsible for ensuring that the sources and content you access are legal and that you have the right to use them.
1. No content is included
ZYO does not supply channels, playlists, films, series, television subscriptions or third-party account credentials. Creating an account, installing the software or entering an activation code does not grant rights to any media content.
2. User responsibility and lawful access
You must check that the source and content you add are lawful to access and use where you are using the player. Obtain and maintain any permissions, licences or subscriptions that are required. Being able to open a stream does not establish that you are entitled to watch it. Do not add unauthorised sources or use another person's account without permission.
3. Copyright and other rights
The rights in channels, programmes, films, images, logos and other third-party material belong to their respective owners. ZYO does not grant rights over that material. Technical compatibility with a source does not authorise copying, sharing or otherwise using content beyond the permissions you hold.
4. Third-party sources and services
Media sources are supplied by the user and are separate from the player. Their availability, accuracy, legality, subscription status and content are not established by ZYO merely because the player can connect to them. Problems with a content subscription must be addressed with the relevant service. Displaying a source, title or logo does not imply endorsement or affiliation.
5. Activation is not a content subscription
An activation code links the application to configured settings and a source. It does not verify ownership of that source or give permission to access its content. ZYO uses activation and app codes rather than requiring you to register a television's MAC address. Single-use activation codes must be reset if a new code is needed.
6. Playback, guide data and external players
Picture quality, resolution, audio, subtitles and playback speed depend on the source, network, device, codecs and playback engine. Names such as HD or 4K are not a guarantee of the actual stream resolution. Programme-guide data comes from an external XMLTV source and may be incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable. External players operate separately and may apply their own terms and privacy practices.
7. Accounts and security
Keep your account details and source credentials private. Only configure devices and accounts you are authorised to use. Do not place sensitive information in optional labels or notes. A device appearing online indicates recent communication with the application, not confirmation of what it is watching.
8. Software and legal rights
The software is under development. Features, supported formats and device compatibility may vary by version, and interruptions or errors may occur. This disclaimer does not authorise illegal activity, replace the need to check your rights to content, or exclude rights or obligations that applicable law does not permit to be excluded.
By choosing to add a source, you are responsible for checking that your access and use are lawful. ZYO remains a software player only.
