Installation instructions

Install ZYO from this website using Downloader. ZYO is not currently available on Google Play or the Amazon Appstore.

These steps are for Android-based Fire OS devices that allow APK installation. Menu names vary by model.

Install Downloader by AFTVnews
On your TV, open the Amazon Appstore, search for Downloader by AFTVnews and install it. Look for the orange icon with a white D and arrow.

Show Developer options
Open Settings → My Fire TV (or Device & Software) → About. Select the device name and press OK 7 times until the confirmation appears. Skip this step if Developer options is already visible.

Allow Downloader to install apps
Return to Settings → My Fire TV (or Device & Software) → Developer options → Install unknown apps. Select Downloader and switch it ON. Older Fire OS versions may call this Apps from Unknown Sources.

Enter your code or short link
Open Downloader. In its address box, enter the Downloader code or short link shown above for your device, then select Go.

Install ZYO Player
Wait for the APK download to finish, then select Install. If installation permission is requested, allow Downloader and return to the downloaded APK.

Open the app
Select Open, or find ZYO Player in your TV apps. Follow the instructions in ZYO to connect your own list.

Install using Downloader, including on Android TV boxes, Google TV and NVIDIA Shield. Settings paths can vary by manufacturer.

Install Downloader by AFTVnews
On your TV, search Google Play for Downloader by AFTVnews and install Downloader. This is the download tool; ZYO itself is installed from the APK on this page.

Enter your code or short link
Open Downloader. In its address box, enter the Downloader code or short link shown above for your device, then select Go.

Allow Downloader to install apps
When Android blocks the installation, select Settings and enable Allow from this source for Downloader, then return and select Install.
Menu paths vary: Settings → Apps → Downloader → Install unknown apps; or Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps. On TCL: Apps → Security & Restrictions → Unknown sources. On Sony: Privacy → Security & Restrictions → Unknown sources. Enable Downloader only.
If this permission is unavailable on Google TV, open Settings → System → About and press Android TV OS build 7 times, then try again. On Android TV, About may be under Device Preferences.

Finish and open ZYO
After installation, select Open or launch ZYO Player from Apps. Future updates are offered in ZYO under Settings → About, with your confirmation; activation and settings are kept.
